1932-1948 Super Catalog Cover Art From "1985"
Wow . . . time flies!  For those of you that might remember, our first "Super" catalog cover is shown here to help kick-off our newly improved website.

We wanted a high quality, full-color cover back then, so we commissioned artist Randy Giovenale of Seattle, WA for the cover art on this Spring 1985 catalog #16.

This was the first catalog in our industry using multiple photos, line drawings, detailed descriptions, and helpful tips on many parts.

The 1-inch-thick catalog with a heavy paper cover was unique in that it did not follow Ford's part number order, but instead each item was put into its own section with special display pages separating doors, lights, rubber, etc., making it very user friendly.  It even had a plastic comb binding to help make the pages turn easier.

It was a milestone for our industry at the time, and set the path for our future auto parts catalogs. Today's catalog #27 is over 640 pages all in full-color with beautiful photos, how-to tips, Bob's collectibles and of course, our ever-growing line of quality early Ford parts.  Get your very own copy on its way by clicking here.
